Ruth'S Banana Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 2/3 c. sugar
    1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/4 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    2/3 c. soft shortening
    2/3 c. buttermilk or 2/3 c. milk with 1 Tbsp. vinegar
    2 large eggs (1/2 c.)
    2/3 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients together in separate bowl.
    Cream together sugar, shortening, eggs and buttermilk.
    Cream in bananas next with creamy mixture.
    Add in dry ingredients and nuts.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
