Molasses Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. molasses
    1 c. lard
    2 tsp. soda
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. sour milk
    1 egg
    4 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. ginger
    1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Heat molasses and lard to melt lard.
    When lard is melted, mix in soda.
    Mix sugar, sour milk and egg and add.
    Mix remaining ingredients well and add.
    Cool overnight.
    Roll out and bake for 10 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven.
    I use round cutters sometimes and also Christmas and Easter cutter designs such as rabbits, crosses, birds, stars, bells and Santa's boots.
    You can sprinkle top of cookie with sugar or frost.
