Rice And Chicken Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. boneless chicken
    1 pkg. taco seasoning
    1/2 c. water
    1 jar salsa
    2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 Tbsp. butter
    2 c. prepared rice
    1 egg, beaten
    shredded lettuce
    chopped tomato
    sour cream
    sliced ripe olives
Preparation
    In skillet on medium-high heat, cook chicken in butter.
    Stir in seasoning mix and water; cook until thickened, about 3 minutes. Combine rice, 1/2 cup salsa, egg and 1 cup cheese.
    Place in 9-inch pie plate.
    Sprinkle with 1/2 cup cheese.
    Top with chicken.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    Top with remaining cheese; let stand 10 minutes.
    Garnish as desired.
