Sand Tarts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 stick margarine, softened
    1/2 c. powdered sugar
    2 1/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. nuts
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients.
    This makes a stiff dough and I have to mix it with my hands.
    Use hands to form dough into crescent shapes.
    Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 325\u00b0 for about 10 minutes or until slightly brown around edges.
    Roll hot cookies in powdered sugar.
    Makes about 3 dozen.
