Hash Brown Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. frozen hash browns
    1/2 c. melted butter
    1/2 c. finely chopped onion
    1 pt. sour cream
    1 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese (reserve 1/4 c.)
    2 cans cream of potato soup or 1 can cream of chicken and 1 can cream of potato or cream of mushroom
    2 c. crushed cornflakes
    1/4 c. melted butter
Preparation
    Mix all but last 2 ingredients and put in 9 x 13-inch pan. Top with crushed cornflakes mixed with 1/4 cup melted butter and reserved Cheddar cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 45 minutes.
    Can be made ahead and refrigerated.
    Bake 10 to 15 minutes longer.
