Easy Venison Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 5 lb. venison roast
    3 Tbsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. baking soda
    cold water
    1 stick unsalted butter
    1 pkg. Mrs. Grass onion soup mix
    garlic powder
    pepper, freshly ground
    1 large onion, sliced thin
    1 carton sour cream
Preparation
    Preheat the oven to 350\u00b0.
    Remove all fat and fell from the roast.
    Soak in mixture of baking soda, salt and water to cover for 4 hours.
    Rinse well and wipe with a paper towel; place in a Dutch oven.
