Pineapple Delight - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large can crushed pineapple
    1 c. sugar
    1 pkg. lemon jello
    1/4 lb. butter
    75 vanilla wafers
    1 can milk, chilled
Preparation
    Heat pineapple to boiling.
    Add sugar and jello.
    Cool.
    Crush the vanilla wafers; mix with 1/4 pound melted butter.
    Set aside. Chill the can of milk; whip until stiff.
    Fold into cooled pineapple mixture.
    Line a glass baking dish with 1/2 crumb mixture.
    Pour in pineapple mixture.
    Cover with remaining crumb mixture.
    Chill and serve.!
