Traditional Cornbread Dressing - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. chopped onion
1/3 c. butter or margarine
4 slices bread torn into small pieces
1/2 tsp. black pepper
2 eggs (beaten)
1 c. chopped celery
6 c. prepared cornbread (crumbled)
1 tsp. dried sage
3 c. chicken broth
Preparation

Preheat oven to 450\u00b0.
Grease 13x9 inch baking dish or pan. In small skillet, cook and stir onion and celery in butter until tender.
In large bowl, combine cooked celery mixture, cornbread, bread, sage, and black pepper.
Mix well.
Add broth and eggs to cornbread mixture.
Mix well.
Pour into greased baking dish. Bake 30 minutes or until golden brown.
Makes 10 servings.
