Ingredients

8 to 10 medium size tomatoes
2 Tbsp. olive or salad oil
salt
2 Tbsp. finely chopped garlic (about 6 large cloves or less)
chopped parsley
dry bread crumbs
dash of pepper
Preparation

Core tomatoes.
Cut in half horizontally.
Gently squeeze tomato halves to remove juice and seeds.
Sprinkle the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch baking dish lightly with salt.
Place tomatoes, cut side up, in the dish.
Drizzle with oil.
Bake, uncovered, in a 400\u00b0 oven for 10 minutes.
