Nova Scotia Salmon Pie(Bob Hall'S Version) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (16 oz.) can salmon, drained and boned or fresh cooked salmon
1/2 c. grated carrot or small peas
1/2 c. chopped celery or frozen season vegetable mix: onion, pepper and celery
4 Tbsp. margarine or butter
1/2 tsp. pepper
6 Tbsp. flour
1 1/2 c. milk (skim or low-fat okay)
1 c. grated Cheddar cheese (low-fat okay)
1 small can mushroom parts
1 pkg. ready to bake biscuits
Preparation

Mix the milk, margarine, flour,
pepper and cheese over low heat until cheese melts.
Add salmon, celery, carrot and mushrooms. Blend gently.
Pour into greased casserole dish.
Top with biscuits.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for about 20 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown.
Mashed potatoes may be substituted for biscuits.
