Baked Cheese Shrimp Custard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 slices bread
    3 Tbsp. softened butter
    1/2 lb. American cheese
    1 lb. fresh raw shrimp
    3 eggs, well beaten
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. paprika
    2 1/2 c. fresh milk
Preparation
    Remove crusts from bread, spread with butter and cut in 1 inch squares.
    Cut the cheese in thin slices, devein the shrimp.
    In a greased 2 quart casserole lay alternate layers of bread, shrimp and cheese.
    Combine eggs, salt, paprika and milk and pour over casserole.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or until a silver knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
    Serves 4 or 5.
