Crunchy Fudge Sandwiches - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (6 oz.) pkg. butterscotch morsels
4 c. Rice Krispies
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate morsels
1/2 c. sifted 10x sugar
2 Tbsp. butter
1 Tbsp. water
1/2 c. peanut butter
1 c. chopped walnuts (optional)
Preparation

Melt butterscotch morsels with peanut butter in heavy saucepan over low heat, stirring until well blended.
Stir in Rice Krispies.
Press half of mixture into buttered 11 x 7 1/2-inch pan.
Chill.
Stir over hot water semi-sweet chocolate morsels, sifted confectioners sugar (10x), butter and water until chocolate melts.
Spread over chilled mixture in pan and top with other half of cereal mixture.
Chill and cut in squares.
I add walnuts to cereal mixture.
