Canned Beef Steaks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. water
    3/4 c. salt
    1 c. brown sugar
    raw beef steaks
Preparation
    Bring water, salt and sugar to a boil; cool.
    Put steak slices in quart jars, fill with boiled juice.
    Cold pack 3 hours.
    Makes enough for 14 quarts.
