Lentil Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. lentils
    2 carrots
    2 stalks celery
    1 onion
    1 clove garlic
    1/3 lb. Italian sausage
    1 (No. 303) can tomatoes
    parsley
    2 Tbsp. wine vinegar
    Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Wash lentils thoroughly.
    Put into pan with chopped carrots, onion, celery and garlic.
    Cover with water.
    Simmer 1 1/2 hours. Add browned sausage, tomatoes, parsley, vinegar, salt and pepper to taste.
    Simmer 30 minutes.
    Pass the Parmesan cheese.
