Alabama Sweet Potato Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. hot mashed sweet potatoes
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1/3 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
dash of salt
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. allspice
1/4 c. rich milk or cream
2 Tbsp. melted butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Mix ingredients and turn into a pastry lined pie plate.
Bake in hot oven at 400\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
Reduce heat to 350\u00b0 and bake 30 minutes longer or until crust is brown.
