Lime Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 chocolate cookie crust
1 (3 oz.) can evaporated milk
1 small pkg. lime jello
1/2 c. boiling water
1/4 c. fresh lemon juice
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. grated lemon peel
Preparation

Place milk in freezer tray.
Place in freezer until frozen 1/2 inch around edges.
While freezing milk, dissolve jello in boiling water.
When slightly cooled, add sugar, lemon juice and peel. Put milk in large mixing bowl and beat until thick.
Pour over lime mixture and beat.
Add a few drops green food coloring if desired.
Pour into crust and chill several hours.
