Corn Chowder - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 small onions, sliced
1 1/2-inch cube salt pork
2 c. potatoes, diced
1 1/2 c. boiling water
2 cans cream-style corn
2 c. scalded milk
3 Tbsp. butter
2 tsp. salt
pepper to taste
Preparation

Heat salt pork in a frypan to release fat.
Then saute onions in the pan.
When they are soft, add potatoes and boiling water. Simmer until potatoes are soft and then stir in remaining ingredients.
Heat the soup through and serve.
Makes 3 to 4 servings.
