Salisbury Steak Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs or oats
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1/4 c. finely chopped onion
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Mix 1/4 cup soup with ingredients. Shape into 6 patties. Place in shallow baking dish. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes. Pour off fat. Mix remaining soup with 1/2 cup water. Pour over patties and bake 10 minutes longer.
