Sausage Breakfast Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 slices bread, crust trimmed
1 lb. sausage
1 1/2 c. (6 oz.) shredded cheese
6 eggs, beaten
2 c. half and half or milk
1 tsp. salt
Preparation

Remove crust from bread and spread with melted margarine. Place in 13 x 9 x 2-inch casserole and set aside.
Cook sausage and drain.
Crumble sausage and spoon over bread.
Sprinkle with shredded cheese.
Combine cream or milk, eggs and salt.
Mix well and pour over cheese.
Cover dish and refrigerate overnight. Bake, uncovered, at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
Serve warm.
