Italian Chicken And Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. water
    1 c. uncooked rice
    1 (14 1/2 oz.) can whole tomatoes, undrained and broken up
    1/2 lb. processed cheese spread (Velveeta), cubed
    1/4 c. finely chopped onion (more or less to your liking)
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder (more or less to your liking)
    1 tsp. Italian seasoning, divided
    1 chicken, cut into 8 pieces or 8 breasts (cutlets)
    2/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Preheat the oven to 375\u00b0.
    In a greased 9 x 13-inch baking pan, mix the water, rice, tomatoes, cheese spread, onion, garlic powder and 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning.
    Top the mixture with the chicken pieces/breasts and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and remaining Italian seasoning.
