Basic Chinese Meat Marinade - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
    dash each of salt and white pepper
    3 Tbsp. sherry
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    4 Tbsp. light soy sauce
    1 small piece ginger (about the size of a quarter), finely minced
Preparation
    Mix and pour over presliced meat. Let stand 10 to 20 minutes or longer. You are ready to cook.
