Granny'S Sausage Gravy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (1 lb.) roll breakfast sausage
    1 to 2 Tbsp. flour
    1 small can evaporated milk
    3/4 c. water
    1 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Slice sausage into 1/2-inch round slices.
    Cook until done. Remove sausage from pan, reserving drippings.
    In same pan used to fry sausage, heat sausage drippings on medium/high heat.
    Stir flour in, 1 tablespoon at a time, until mixture resembles a thick paste. Mix together evaporated milk and water.
    Pour slowly into pan, stirring constantly with a fork until completely cooked down to consistency of gravy.
    Add pepper to taste.
    Serve immediately over hot biscuits.
