Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pt. strawberries
    3/4 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 (10 oz.) bottle 7-Up
    few drops red food coloring
    baked 9-inch pie shell
    whipped cream or topping
Preparation
    Hull and wash fresh strawberries.
    Slice into halves.
    Combine 7-Up, cornstarch, sugar and food coloring, stirring until smooth. Cook until thick.
    Cool.
    Fold in strawberries.
    Pour filling into baked pie shell.
    Refrigerate until cold.
    Top with whipped cream or dessert topping before serving.
