Yam Ring - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 medium yams, cooked and peeled
    1/2 c. milk
    1 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1/2 c. margarine or butter
    3/4 c. packed dark brown sugar
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Mash hot yams in large bowl with milk, salt and pepper. Spread some of the butter (about 5 tablespoons) over bottom and side of a 6 1/2 cup ring mold.
