Quick Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 c. flour
    3/4 c. yellow corn meal
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar. Add egg and beat well.
    Combine flour, corn meal, baking powder and salt. Add milk alternately with drys to egg mixture, mixing well after each addition. Bake in greased 8-inch square pan at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
