Rich Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. shortening
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. cocoa
    1 c. boiling water
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. sour cream
    2 eggs
Preparation
    Mix together dry ingredients and set aside.
    Cream together shortening, sugar, eggs and cocoa.
    Add boiling water.
    Stir in sour cream and vanilla.
    Add dry ingredients slowly, mixing well. Bake in a 9 x 13-inch pan at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Frost with white frosting.
