Nanny'S Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. Brazil nuts (whole)
    1 1/2 c. walnuts (whole)
    1 (7 oz.) pkg. pitted dates (whole)
    1/2 c. candied pineapple
    1 c. red maraschino cherries (whole) and 1/2 c. green
    1/2 c. white raisins
    3/4 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    3/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Grease a loaf pan.
    Line with wax paper and grease again. Place fruit and nuts in large bowl.
    Sift flour and sugar over fruit.
    Add beaten eggs with vanilla; mix well.
    Pack in pan. Bake for 1 1/2 hours at 250\u00b0.
    Use foil over top, if needed the last 30 minutes.
    Let cool 10 minutes in pan.
    Remove from pan. Remove wax paper.
    Place in tinfoil and store in fridge.
    Slice very thin to serve.
