Bandera Ranch Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. dried pinto beans
    8 c. water
    1/4 lb. margarine
    2 onions, diced fine
    1 green bell pepper, diced fine
    1 (16 oz.) can diced tomatoes
    1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 Tbsp. garlic powder
    2 tsp. powdered mustard
    1 tsp. Tabasco
    2 Tbsp. chili powder
    2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 Tbsp. powdered ginger
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Clean beans and place into a kettle with 8 cups of water. Boil slowly for two hours until beans are tender.
    Remove the floaters.
    Using a large skillet, melt margarine and saute onions and green bell pepper until soft.
    Add tomatoes, tomato sauce and seasonings.
    Simmer slowly and stir for about 5 minutes.
    Add to cooked beans and heat.
