Kay'S Pirogi - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    2 eggs
    1/2 tsp. salt
    butter
Preparation
    Mix flour, eggs and salt together.
    Gradually add water until you have a soft, but not sticky, dough.
    Knead it until it blisters.
    Roll to 1/4-inch thickness.
    Cut with glass into circles.
    Place teaspoonful of filling on circles.
    (Before placing filling on dough, take a salt shaker and shake salt all over dough lightly; this helps when pinching pirogi to seal.)
    Pinch edges to keep filling from escaping.
    Drop into boiling salted water until pirogi rise to the top or about 8 to 10 minutes.
    Drain.
    Melt butter and brown.
    (We also add chopped onions in this butter.) Pour over pirogi and toss to mix.
