Sausage 'N Beans Country Style - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. sausage (I like the lean, but any will do)
1 c. chopped onion
1 large can pork and beans (about 24 oz.)
1/3 c. catsup
1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
1 tsp. poultry seasoning
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cornbread mix
Preparation

Cook sausage in skillet, breaking up with a fork as it cooks. Saute onion with the sausage.
Drain all fat.
Combine beans, catsup, mustard, poultry seasoning with the sausage and onion.
Mix well.
Prepare corn muffin mix according to package directions. Put corn muffin mix into a greased 2-quart casserole dish, making a nest in the center.
Spoon meat mixture into nest.
When it's cooked, it makes a sort of crust around the other mixture.
Bake for 20 minutes in a 400\u00b0 oven.
Garnish with parsley, tomato slices, catsup or whatever you like.
Recipe can be increased to suit your family size or for guests.
