Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/3 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
dash of salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. chopped pecans
1/2 c. butter or oleo
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
3 c. diced firm apples
Preparation

Cream sugar and shortening.
Add eggs and vanilla.
Sift dry ingredients together and add, reserving 1/2 cup of flour to dust nuts and apples.
Bake in an 8 x 11-inch greased and floured pan at 350\u00b0 for about 40 minutes or until done.
(A tube pan can be used for this recipe.)
