Caramel Chews - cooking recipe
Ingredients

36 vanilla caramel
3 Tbsp. light cream or evaporated milk
1 c. cornflakes
1 c. Rice Krispies
1 c. coconut
1 c. nuts
Preparation

Place caramels and cream in top of double boiler over hot water and heat until caramels melt, stirring occasionally.
Toss together remaining ingredients and pour over caramel mixture.
Mix thoroughly, working rapidly, and drop on wax paper.
Yield:
2 dozen.
