Ingredients

1 c. butter
1 c. oil
1 c. sugar
1 c. 10x sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. almond extract
2 eggs
5 c. flour
1 tsp. cream of tartar
Preparation

Cream butter, oil and sugar.
Add extracts.
Stir in 1 egg at a time. Beat well after each.
Sift the dry ingredients together and add to the creamed mixture.
Mix well.
Roll into balls the size of walnuts.*
Roll in sugar, flatten and bake 10 to 12 minutes at 350\u00b0.
