Golden Glow Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. corn meal
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 1/2 c. boiling water
    1/2 lb. Cheddar cheese
    1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Add corn meal gradually to boiling salted water, stirring constantly; cook over boiling water 30 to 45 minutes.
    Pour into shallow pan.
    When cold, cut into 1 inch squares.
    Melt cheese on top of double boiler.
    Add milk gradually, stirring constantly. Arrange layers of mush and cheese in casserole; bake in moderate oven (350\u00b0) for 20 minutes.
    Serves 4.
