Beet Pickles(From The Files Of Norma Brown) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

6 c. sugar
3 c. vinegar
3 c. water
1/2 c. white Karo syrup
1 Tbsp. whole mixed pickling spices
beets

Preparation

Mix all ingredients (except beets) together and bring to a boil.
Pour over beets in jars and seal.
