Pan-Fried Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. bacon fat or oil
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    5 c. peeled apples, cut in chunks or wedges
    1/4 c. sugar
Preparation
    Heat fat or oil in heavy frypan over low heat.
    Add prepared apples; sprinkle with lemon juice and sugar.
    Brown lightly, then turn once.
    If apples are not tender after second side is browned, cover and cook a few minutes longer.
    Makes 6 (1/2-cup) servings.
