Crunchy Coleslaw - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. Ramen noodles (discard seasoning packet)
1 c. slivered almonds
1/2 c. salted sunflower seeds
1/2 stick butter
1 head cabbage, shredded
1 bunch scallions, chopped
1/4 c. red wine vinegar
3/4 c. vegetable oil
1 c. sugar
Preparation

Melt butter in skillet. Add broken up noodles and almonds. Saute until just beginning to brown.
Add sunflower seeds and cook until all is nicely toasted brown. Drain and set aside.
Toss shredded cabbage and scallions in a large bowl.
Mix dressing with whisk by blending red wine vinegar, sugar and oil. Pour into container. Right before serving, toss cabbage, nut mixture and dressing.
