Stage Coach Inn Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. cornmeal
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 c. sugar

Preparation

Mix ingredients.
Add to 3 1/2 cups boiling water.
Cook briefly until it thickens.
Add butter to taste.
When cool, roll into logs and deep fry until golden brown.
