Beer Batter - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. flour
1/4 c. cornstarch
1 egg, separated
1 c. beer (room temperature)
Preparation

Sift flour and starch together.
Beat egg yolk into beer.
Mix into flour.
Let stand one hour.
Beat egg white until it stands in soft peaks.
Fold into batter.
Dip fish in batter and deep fry at 375\u00b0.
