Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. soft shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 3/4 c. flour
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Cream shortening together with sugar and eggs.
    Sift dry ingredients together and add.
    Mix well.
    Roll into balls about the size of a walnut.
    Roll balls into a mixture of cinnamon and sugar.
    Bake on ungreased cookie sheet 8 to 10 minutes at 400\u00b0. Cool on flat surface.
