Grandma'S Gingerbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. molasses
1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. butter
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 egg
pinch of salt
1 large tsp. baking soda
2 c. flour
1 c. boiling water (put in last)
Preparation

Mix all ingredients, except for water.
Just before placing in pan, add water.
Mixture will be very thin, but when baked it will be light and spongy.
Square cake pan is best.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until done.
Top with confectioners sugar while still warm.
