Mexican Cornbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. cornmeal
1 c. milk
2 eggs
1/2 c. grease or oil
1 can cream-style corn
1 lb. ground beef
1 large onion
8 oz. Cheddar cheese
4 jalapeno peppers
Preparation

Brown ground beef and onion; drain.
Mix together first 5 ingredients.
Put half in skillet.
Add ground beef and onion, then add cheese and chopped jalapeno peppers.
Cover with remaining cornmeal mixture.
Sprinkle cheese on top.
Cook at 375\u00b0 for 50 to 55 minutes.
