Fruit Soup(Swedish Christmas Pudding) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 to 1/2 lb. pitted prunes
    1 1/2 c. raisins
    1/2 c. sugar
    4 c. chopped apples
    3 Tbsp. red cinnamon candies
    3 Tbsp. tapioca
    4 c. milk
    2 heaping Tbsp. corn meal
    2 heaping Tbsp. minute tapioca
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. ginger
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. molasses
Preparation
    Combine milk, corn meal, tapioca, ginger and salt.
    Heat until thickened and it just starts to boil.
    Stir constantly to mix in the corn meal.
    Remove from the heat and add the molasses.
    Pour into a buttered 1 1/2-quart deep baking dish.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours or until well set.
    Serve with vanilla ice cream.
