Hershey'S Chocolate-Banana Snacking Cake - cooking recipe

1 2/3 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. packed light brown sugar
1/4 c. Hershey's cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. mashed ripe banana (1 large)
1/3 c. vegetable oil
1 tsp. white vinegar
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
whipped topping (optional)
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
In large bowl, stir together flour, brown sugar, cocoa, baking soda and salt.
Add water, banana, oil, vinegar and vanilla.
Stir until smooth.
Pour batter in ungreased 8-inch square baking pan.
Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
Serve warm or cool with whipped topping, if desired.
Makes 9 servings.
