Ingredients

2 medium onions
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
2 (14 oz.) cans beef broth
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
4 slices toasted French bread
grated Parmesan cheese
4 slices Swiss cheese
Preparation

Place onion and butter in a 3-quart casserole.
Cook, covered, for 8 to 10 minutes.
Add broth, water and Worcestershire sauce. Cook, covered, for 5 to 7 minutes.
Toast bread.
Place on paper towel.
Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
Top with Swiss cheese. Heat for 15 to 30 seconds.
Place one slice of bread in each serving bowl.
Pour soup over bread.
