Fettucine Alfredo - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. fettucine
    4 Tbsp. (1/4 c.) butter, melted
    1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    2 Tbsp. half and half
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    In a large pot of boiling water, cook pasta just until tender; drain. In a heated serving dish, combine all the remaining ingredients. Add the hot drained pasta and carefully toss to coat well. If desired, sprinkle pasta with freshly ground pepper and additional Parmesan cheese.
    I also like to add some cooked shrimp to mine for a main dish.
