Bea'S Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 c. water
2 c. sugar
1 c. vinegar (90 grain)
salt
dill
garlic
hot pepper (optional)
cucumbers
Preparation

Add 1 tablespoon salt to each jar, bring brine to boil. Pour over
cold
pack
cucumbers
with dill, garlic and a hot pepper (optional).
Put
in
hot
bath until cucumbers change color. These stay crisp for a long time.
