Pie Dough #3 - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. flour
    2 1/4 c. vegetable shortening
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix together flour and salt.
    Using a pastry blender or your fingertips, work shortening into flour mixture until resulting crumbs are about the size of dried split peas.
    Store in tightly covered container.
    (Empty shortening can with plastic lid may be used.)
    Mixture does not have to be refrigerated; can be kept as long as 4 months.
