Angel Food Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. boiling water
1 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. cornstarch (heaping)
pinch of salt
2 egg whites, beaten stiff
1/2 c. walnuts
1/2 c. coconut
Preparation

Mix sugar, cornstarch and salt.
Stir in hot water and cook until clear and thick.
Pour while hot over beaten egg whites. Add nuts and coconut.
Beat well.
Cool and pour into a baked pie shell.
Cover the top with whipped cream.
