Vegetable Marinade - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 stalks fresh broccoli (flowerettes only)
    8 large fresh mushrooms, sliced
    1 medium green pepper, chopped
    1 small head cauliflower, broken into flowerettes
    1 c. sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1 1/2 c. oil
    1 small onion, grated
    2 Tbsp. poppy seed
Preparation
    Combine first five ingredients in a large container with a tight lid.
    Combine remaining ingredients and mix well.
    Pour marinade over vegetables and toss; cover.
    Chill at least 3 hours. Yields 10 to 12 servings.
